Our courses are suitable for hobbyists and budding professionals alike, and rest assured, Ed and his team will guide you every step of the way. Our team are hands-on and always available to answer your questions – no matter your skill level or experience. Everyone is welcome (if you are over 18).

From essential skills to furniture making

We offer a range of short woodworking courses from tool sharpening to steam bending, running from a single day up to a full five days!

Where are you based?

Our rural workshop is located just outside the village of Bosham in West Sussex. Bosham (pronounced ‘Bozzum’) is set on the south coast on one of the small inlets of Chichester Harbour.

All our courses take place in our spacious studio / workshop. It is well equipped with everything you’d expect, from hand tools to high-end machinery etc. But more than that, our workshop (well it is the heart of our business) and team offer you a very warm welcome. Come and soak up the friendly, professional atmosphere whilst learning new skills and chatting to your heart’s content about tools, machines and timber!

“The course was not only informative and well planned with everything covered from wood choice and preparation prior to the introduction to steam bending which is a real art … Ed has a great team working with him and they really were a joy to work with. We were also shown how to correctly sharpen our tools which was an added bonus.”
